I painted this nautical image of a tall ship with acrylics on 3/4" pine board.
The background was washed in various tones of blues and browns to achieve
a weathered rustic look. The outer edges have holes drilled where roping runs
through. On the right side notice a American Flag and birds flying.

This lighthouse sits on the edge of a cliff and was painted on a round
wooden plate made in the USA. It hangs by a wire that runs front to back.
The outer was painted with crackle paint to achieve a rustic look.

with acrylics. The backwoods and ponds behind our home
inspired me to paint this image because it depicts a peaceful
and inviting environment that's good for the sole.
Notice the fish shape that was cut and extended out of the wood.
